We provide installation of flower beds and planters and we will maintain them so that they look beautiful from season to season. We can provide season themes and color changes
Exterior Day Porter Services
Our day porter service includes keeping walks, patios and parking lots free from trash and other debris, we will empty and change the liners in trash receptacles, sweep and power wash walks, patios and lots when necessary. We also provide any other outside maintenance that is requested by our customer.
Tree and Shrub Care
After evaluating the trees and shrubs on your property we will provide whatever care is necessary; pruning, fertilization, insect and disease control, cabling or removal year round.

Chad Smith
President/Owner
Chad Smith founded Lawns Plus, Inc. in 2000 and has grown the business to an industry leader in the Des Moines metro area with integrity, hard work, and a handshake. He is extremely involved in the day-to-day operations and his goal has always been 100% customer satisfaction. Not only has the Lawns Plus, Inc.’s
client base grown; but over the past several years he has grown his team and he provides such great opportunities for so many. Chad is an avid deer hunter and enjoys the time he can spend outdoors. Chad was born and raised in Winterset and that is where he and his wife Erin are raising their three children.
Brenda Reedy
Office Administrator/Account Manager
Brenda has been in the lawn/landscape/snow removal business since 2000 in various positions. She has a passion for making sure the client has the best possible experience and as office administrator Brenda oversees operations across the Lawns Plus, Inc. office, she also serves as account manager for specific clients and is responsible for the day-to-day interaction with those clients.
When not at the office you can find Brenda and her husband David in Ankeny where they have raised their family. She enjoys spending time with family and friends including their two grown children and three grandchildren.
Adam Smith
General Manager
As General Manager of Lawns Plus, Inc. Adam oversees the day-to-day operations, working closely with our production team to ensure that every project is executed with the highest level of professionalism, efficiency, and quality. After 27 years of working in an outdoor industry Adam has learned that you cannot put a price on
communication, and he strives to communicate with employees and clients to ensure a satisfactory outcome. When Adam is not working at Lawns Plus, Inc. or working on his farm you will find it hard to catch up with him because he may be running his son to different
events and volunteer coaching baseball or football. Adam has a passion for supporting his community and helping wherever he can.
Ryan Parks
Outside Sales Representative
Ryan recently joined Lawns Plus Inc. He has been in outdoor power equipment sales for over 20 years. His previous relationships in this industry and new clients have given Ryan the opportunity to earn additional business. He enjoys working with customers, providing peace of mind when it comes to their property management. Ryan's #1 goal is customer satisfaction. He knows that communication skills, problem solving and hard work are what it takes. He enjoys spending time with his family, boating and riding off road equipment.
Brady Mooers
Outside Sales Representative
After graduating from UNI in 2022, Brady joined the Lawn's Plus, Inc team. Brady has built a strong client base that continues to grow by networking with his many contacts. Brady enjoys getting out of the office and meeting new people. He uses his skills to listen and be available at the drop of a hat for anyone.
Brady was raised in Norwalk and currently lives in Des Moines. In his free time, Brady enjoys playing soccer and being active outside as much as possible. He is an avid concertgoer and enjoys traveling.
Erinn Smith
Accounting/Human Resources/Payroll
As a graduate of Iowa State University in the field of Human Resources Erinn has a background in this area and uses it at Lawns Plus, Inc. to manage every aspect of the employment process as well as maintain the company’s payroll information. Erinn also maintains the accounts payable records by making sure all invoices are paid in an efficient and timely manner.
When Erinn is not helping to make sure that Lawns Plus, Inc. is running smoothly she is usually on the run with her and Chad’s three busy children.
Suzy Kinney
Office Administrator
Suzy joined the Lawn’s Plus team in 2024 as an Office Administrator. Prior to joining Lawn’s Plus, she had spent a few years in the Green Industry after retirement from the Iowa Army National Guard in 2017. As an office administrator, she manages day-to-day clerical operations at Lawn’s Plus. Fast and Friendly customer service and ensuring customers are taken care of is of high importance to her. Suzy lives with her husband Drew and two children in Adel. When not working, she and her family enjoy camping and watching or attending sporting events with family and friends.
